Salvo’s Osteria Romana

Upscale Roman cooking from a Sicilian owner and Neapolitan chef — the Drive's 2025 fine-dining upgrade.

#italian#roman#upscale#date night

Salvo’s Osteria Romana raised the Drive’s ceiling when it opened in mid-2025: an upscale Roman osteria — owner Salvo from Sicily, chef from Naples — taking over the former Thai Me Up space and turning it into the strip’s date-night answer. OutSFL flagged it as a notable arrival, and the room has been earning the coverage since.

The menu speaks Roman: cacio e pepe, amatriciana, carbonara done by someone with a Neapolitan chef’s opinions about guanciale. It’s the most dressed-up table on the strip, which by Wilton Manors standards still means welcome-as-you-are.

At 2389 Wilton Dr it’s mid-strip. Reservations via salvosteria.com.
