Stork’s Bakery & Cafe

The neighborhood's bakery-café institution since 1997 — cakes, coffee, and community by Five Points.

Stork’s has been baking for the neighborhood since 1997 — a bakery, coffeehouse, and bistro just off Five Points that predates most of the strip’s current tenants and has outlived several generations of them. Long a favorite gathering spot for the town’s LGBTQ community, it’s where birthday cakes come from and where mornings begin.

The formula hasn’t needed changing: a serious cake and pastry case, proper coffee, café plates, and tables that host everything from book clubs to first dates. Institutions get called institutions because the town can’t imagine itself without them; Stork’s qualifies.

At 2505 NE 15th Ave it’s a short walk from the Drive. Menu at storksbakery.com.
